Professor Roshni Rainbow receives the Silver Wrench Award

Congratulations to Dr. Roshni Rainbow, who received the Silver Wrench Award for the 2017-2018 academic year at the MECH Banquet this week. This award recognizes the professor who displays the most interest and enthusiasm towards Mechanical and Materials Engineering, as chosen by the graduating year. “I am very honoured to receive this award and it is a privilege to teach MME students,” said Dr. Rainbow, Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.

Two other awards were given out at the Banquet: The Brass Wrench Award was awarded to Stephen Roper. This award is given to the Teaching Assistant in the department who displays the greatest contribution towards his or her work. The K.L. Murray award was given to Sonja Pejcic for her outstanding dedication to teaching. Congratulations to all!
